One Ear Brand Bandanas<Home I'll Never Be Cheddar Orange Bandana

Started by Osaka based Bandana connoisseur, Jonathan Lukacek, the One Ear Brand aims to be much more than just a bandana brand. Using custom made fabrics, One Ear Bandanas are made entirely in Japan, printed one at a time meaning that each is slightly different from the last. Inspired by the big “Turkey Red” bandanas of the 1800’s, these bandanas are designed for more than just accenting an outfit; they make great Eco-Bags, Face Masks, Scarves, Furoshiki (Traditional Japanese Wrapping Cloths), Head Wraps and much more. With the Bandana as her canvas each piece is drawn by one artist, Japanese- American- Yurika Cherise Shikai.

Based entirely on an early 20th century bandana, the design has been directly influencing in producing the “Home I’ll Never Be” bandana. The Chinook camping car is a favourite of the designers and endows the bandanna with a wanderlusty vibe. The Chinook is quite possibly the finest camping vehicle ever conceived, Toyota Hilux base with a half pop-up roof. The colour design is directly taken from the original Bell System standards manual.
